My next project. always liked this movie so thought i would give it a bash....

Art work is not finished yet so its an early WIP, just to make sure iam on the write path with it. iam still working on adding in ground and rocks to the front to give it a bit more detail and depth around the sword.... any help on what i could do for special features and synopsis area would be very welcome they allways give me trouble (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Hope it looks ok so far

I really like it. Except I am not too sure about the background colour of the center pic. It stands out too much.

Nice start Hoofer, my only suggestion so far would be the cut out around matey's hair on the front, did you user a layer mask or cut out? If you used a layer mask try zooming right in a painting back in a littel roughness around the hair. If you cut him out zoom right in a paint in some hair with a 1 pixel brush (hold alt+click on the closest pixel when the paintbrush tool is select to get a colour match) try very smal loop and tiny flicks to build it up to a natural cut.

I will have a look at the hair skally, should have been the same as poster as i masked well away from the hair onto the background then blended then back onto a new background, the one thing i did do was to use mystical tone and tint to redo lighting effects and shadows for the sky, i did notice when i done this on the top left, it left a line that looked like a bad cut witch i had to clone out, could be the same thing on his hair as the light effect was above his head on that side. thanks for pointing it out...

Thanks to all for comments, just a small update. spine has been adjusted down a bit and a few other bits done, still need to work out something for special features and synop.. hopefully the alterations have worked for spine and back... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Looking real good! I'm unsure about the tagline and quote at the same time on the back. Maybe quotes only? Or tagline by itself?

Looking real nice hoofer, I gotta agree with Irrob around the tag and quote though, peronsonally I'd go with the tag and perhaps shift the quote (although slightly smaller ) to the front.
