I haven't seen this yet, so I have to thank Demon for the Somerfield idea (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif) As you can see on the front, I added police hats, and a blue light to Pegg's hat, to add to the humour. The idea of fire obviously came from the poster. I know they look like they should be on fire, but I thought that was part of the stupidity that goes with the film (I am guessing it is like the usual Pegg movies) I tried to make the Somerfield sign look as real as I could, there even a reflection of a row of shops in it, to make it look plastic. I tried adding some lighting effects to the blue lights, but I just can't get it right. If anyone can help me with these, I would be grateful, but I am not sure if thayt would bring too much blue on the cover. I might add some more 'funny' stuff to the front cover. Maybe some underwear on the other gun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) (Didn't they go breaking through back gardens on the trailer?)
Nice start Baz, personally I'd lose the Somerfield logo, well done, but detracts from the rest of the cover in a big way, aside from a few brief appearences and the final showdown it's not that prominent.
The movie's focus is more about an idealic village - Sanford, that isn't all that is seems, very funny though.
Can't really see propoerly, cos the the hot-linking thingy.
But if your sold on keep the somerfield theme, perhaps show a little more of the shop frontage. Not sure on the new position of the cuffs. It's a really tough one this movie I gave up myself on my version.

If it is taking you to subscription link, then it is hot-linking cutting in. It sounds like your browser is doing something funny. Anyone else have the same problem?
First off when I click for a larger image .................. I get a 2000 x 3000 image of Barbara Windsor performing oral sex on a dwarf wearing a Sid James mask!
As for the cover .......................well you just gotta imagine this movie and it makes you howl with laughter...........it only works for brits though.
I like it Bazz m8....................i think the cuffs work well over Somerfield ....................and that image on the front.................is that in the gallery?....................I want it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

very nice bazzah, perhaps a different background image for the back or maybe the flames could be 'whited out' and some other images place on top or 'ghosted' over them.
im also in the same boat as skally & user, yet the links you gave directly to the image work if clicked from this page but not if pasted into a new tab or browser session... could this be something to do with the referring of the clicked link? browser: maxthon 1.5.9 IE6 sunJava 1.6.0 running winxp
