This is the first time I have re-worked a scan, so I could do with the opinions of some of the expert scanners! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

I have redone most of it. I was thinking of rewriting the credits, and actors names on the front. I have also added a couple of elements. Any tips you can give me?

Here's the original:

And the reworked:

Looks good to me, if your test print looks good to you then I'd say your done. Nice work.
There is a lot of work in restoring a scan properly isn't there.

Very Nice work Baz. Usually Despeckle and Median filters are used to remove the dots and scratches. I think you've used them both. The First Look logo on spine and back got darker and blurry. I've got one in perfect resolution. if you need it I can send it. other than that its perfect

Thanks all

Zan - I have cleaned that logo up a little since this post, but if you have one, it would be handy to have!

Thanks for the logo Zan. I have finished now. I reckon it is easier to make customs than rework scans!!

Wow, really nice rework Bazzah. I think if you just clean up some dust spots around the spine picture at the top and around the upc barcode, it will be perfect. Just my thoughts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)
