Same artwork as those in the gallery, but different I hope. What do you think so far? I was thinking of just finishing the logos and credits, and leaving it as it is.

I would either lose the actors names from across the top, or move the picture down so that they aren't across the illusionists head.

On the rear I think the "first feature" in the special features needs more work to look realistic. To me it seems to dip down on the right hand side too much. Perhaps move them all down a bit so that they are centred in the orb where they would need less contouring to the orb shape.

Off the topic of this particular cover it seems that most of the feedback you receive says "good job". I would assume that if you are posting in here then you are looking for more than that (otherwise you would post in the showoff section) Maybe they are too scared to "piss off the boss" Perhaps you would receive more valuable feedback if you posted in the Resident Artists WIP section? (assuming it still exists)

As usual, my 2 bobs worth & a threepence more.

Cheers

ps. I'd appreciate it if you would have a look at my Running with Scissors WIP & add your thoughts. (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Thanks for the suggestions swamp. I'll have a play. And yes, I do post here for criticism. Maybe you are right, and people don't want to 'upset the boss' but if I wasn't ready for criticism, I wouldn't post here in the first place.

well, i think it looks good. yeah I suppose the features could look better, maybe a smaller sphere, but I just don't see the point of special features on a custom cover, they're marketing tools to me. (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

Thanks for the comments. Ky, it's not a template. Just thrown together (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) Glad the glass ball looks like glass! (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif) The coat was left on the side, so you could see the title clearly (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Made some small changes. Uploading to the gallery now.
