Just wondering if I could get your opinion on if this works. I'm not sure if it is too bland?

My opinion would be to get rid of, or at least lessen the shadow on the synopsis.

I recently saw a tut saying that putting a shadow on stuff makes it easier to read & ever since I can't see plain text anywhere????

Please, it can be effective on larger writing, or where the you have a multicoloured background so that single coloured text is difficult to read, but if that's not the case plain text is much more legible.

ca-ching.
