well this is my take on the cover for over the hedge, just missing info regarding subīs audio etc, hence the empty square on the back of the cover. What do you think?

Nice background.
A couple of thoughts:

DVD logo on the front looks a bit out of place.
DVD logo on the spine seems a bit large.
What is that star (with circle)?

the dvd logo is centred, dunno why it looks misplaced, it isnt on the one I printed, the star is my own "logo" I use on my stuff.

That's why it looks misplaced. Usually logos are off to the side, sort of as a footnote. Not a main visual.

looks good but i wouldnt have the title on the back, also i would remove that star thing as it ruins the cover and maybe use the same colour as the title on the text

You can mark your work in much more discreet ways. Such as a note in the legal text. Or a small low-opacity text somewhere on the cover (where it isn't really noticed).
And the master's here probably have other ways but that's what I do..

Otherwise, it's a good looking cover - a bit psycadelic for me but it looks good (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

I also agree with the above statements, especially about the text on the back. This would look great with a gradient scheme like the title.

Anyone who has a suggestion on how I should do with the "movie info" like how many audio tracks etc it is on the disc? what region is the best one to create to? etc etc. I do not have a original on this one just made it for fun. Also need help with how to set that stuff up properly, tried to look at a template but that layout sucks.

I'd check out some other customs to see how they did the layout and specs-box. The gallery has maaaany custom covers - use it like the resource it is (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

I understood that, but can't you tell how the layout is done by just watching the preview? Ah well, I don't know.

think i got it now, well anyway it was mostly the info that was needed, like what audio tracks, subtitle tracks etc etc that I need, the layout isnt the hardest part acctually. Just need time and inspiration, thats the most important now (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)
