How do I cut out an image using the Pen tool? I thought I saw something recently about using this to create tons of lines to outline an image, but when I try it, when I connect the lines it starts to warp and twist, etc? What am I doing wrong? Or is this even possible, I may have read wrong?

i use paint shop pro,but the prinicipals the same:
i think what your using the wrong tool.you need to make a selection, and instead of using the magic wand, set your selection tool to 'freehand'(normally a lasso) and at the top in the dropdown box make the selection type 'point to point'

I think what you are refering to, is using the pen tool, to crete vector shapes to cut out images? When you have drawn your shape, using the pen tool, you need to select the 'Direct Selection Tool' (above the pen tool) to select the anchor points. There are 3 points. The main point in the middle moves the anchor point around, and the two others are to increase, decrease curves. Takes a little getting used to, but very useful when you have.
