How about some barbed wire bud, I've seen it on some covers and it really looks good.

havent seen the movie but how about concrete textures as a background?
or some barbwired fenced wiew? and then use the front as some kind of poster
sitting on the wall/fence? but again i havent seen the movie so it might not fit...
what ever you do im sure it will turn out ok! (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

I dont know about this one. The front and some of the screens look awfully lo res to me. Not really digging this one I'm afraid. although I may be biased by the amazing cover that Shorn made for this flick. The background may be helped as Scam said with a concrete or stone wall texture, Bazzah has a cover for this with a prison wall type background you could check out. Not that I'm suggesting using that but there's no harm in getting ideas and inspiration from someone else's work. Maybe instead of an escape map of Germany do something a little smaller like just an escape map from the camp, probably be easier to make.

thanks donobieus, this ones on the back burner at the mo. but the screenshots are hi-res lobby cards.funnily enough this is something i mentioned to film boy, that lobby cards all seem to be colourised black&white photos right up until the late 60's.probably because colour was so expensive.
