Looks neat so far, not too keen on the swords but with some other stuff on it, it'll probably look as awsome as your other covers.. Keep us posted. (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

(and btw, a flat preview would be nice.)

Great work as always Skally. I like the design. Have you tried to skip a part of the spec box ? Maybe move the logos down and put them in the "net" boxes. Skip the legaltext and only have a small spec box with subs etc. ? That sounded weird, but maybe you understood my idea ?

too many critics around, looks great m8, if I realy had anything to add maybe the sword should be slightly curved, can't remember, love the flicks, but haven't watched in a long long time. its obvious you havent seen them in a long time. The blade should be straight. Nice stuff. my only gripe (minor one) is among the awesome Blade promo shots out there, the one here is the weakest IMO. Thats all.

skally I love your work and this is just an opinion since I really loved the first film and hold high regard for this, but I think this cover feels a little too much like a paint shop creation. I love the work you do and the ideas you come up with, just not my favorite of yours so far any ways. sorry for the critisism but its just an opinion.

Hi Rowley, thanks for the comment, could you perhaps add what aspects of the cover you dislike? Otherwise posting in WIP becomes pointless for both you and me, perhaps you could add your opinions on how to improve it.

Funnily enought the only piece of this so far that was created in Photoshop is the credits and cutout of Blade.

Thanks Irrob, it's a place holder at the moment, not sure where I'm going with this one at the moment, any suggestions or better images will be gratefully recieved.

Place holders at the moment, but trying to go a little more retail looking with my covers at the moment.

I don't know if this is something to improve cuz i'm not a creator and obviously am not as smart as you guys at this, but is the lighting on the front for the blade title supposed to follow the lighting with those knives on the corners?
maybe the thing that kinda throws me off is the difference with blade and your background. he has a lot of light hitting him from behind and to the right, but the background just doesn't match for me for some reason. maybe its just the above mentioned i don't know. thats why I didn't put in what really threw me off cuz you guys are really good at this and know your stuff. I feel it might be insulting to you if I gave advice like that, esp. if I was wrong. so, sorry about that I'll try to figure out things before I write

dotBMP for me this is the trend because l'm honestly running out of room for my DVD's and you can save alot of space turning collections into one.two.three or even more box sets.... (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

Please dont ever feel like I dont need help, I've not actually been making covers nearly as long as most of the other deigners in this site, and I value all opinions and feedback, and your bang on the money regarding the lighting between the Snipes picture and the rest of the cover, it simply doesn't match, so I'll definatly be swopping him out or adjusting the lighting (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) and I passionatly believe that you can never stop learning from others not matter what there skills are, so thanks for the reply (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)
