looks really good, bit i prefer the top one without the chains, and (IMO) think you have over-sized the back slightly, leave the info at the bottom in more empty space like the band members.at he moment you have the writing over the dudes face.
You know, I liked the title set being bigger, personally. The reason being that I can read the text better.
However, I know what you mean about text over Layne Staley's face. Ironically, the text covering Layne's face states "In loving memory of Layne Staley August 22, 1967-Arpil 5, 2002". This was his last full concert... He did do a couple special appearances, but by this point his addiction had really surpassed his ability to do much of anything anymore. Also, and rather surprisingly, it was a very powerful performance and aside from his eyes and forgetting the lyrics once you would believe he was a young kid with a powerful and unique voice with years of strong vocal performances left in him... Anyways, back to the cover, I think I will take your advice and rework it a bit to clean this text issue up.
For the compliments and constructive criticism I thank you all. For the brushes I must again thank Skallywag personally.
Also, one last question. I know MrHenryDog didn't like the chains, but Skallywag did. So I would like a small show of hands (if I may be so bold as to ask) as to which you prefer for my final product to be posted in the gallery, No chains, one chain, or both chains?
Edit, here are all 3 versions with the text fixed (sorry MrHenryDog, but I opted to maintain the size of the titleset, which actually printed out very well) and it was really done through manipulation of picture location.
