Hi guys

I am trying to make my own custom covers for the tv series Charmed to compliment dongers labels and was wondering if anyone could pls help or show me how to make the reflective shiny gold color and silver color for the font. I have the RGB code for gold #FFD700 http://www.htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/color.cgi which was posted in the forums but i am having trouble making the gold and silver shiny and reflective

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated

cheers

one thing that is good with that filter is that you can reflect anything in the result. So if you want to reflect something from the cover onto the writing play with the reflection maps (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

to be honest I do most of mine in C4D now as it just makes a much better result and you can get shadows and everything perfect using lighting. If you are using Impact you just need to play around with the settings a bit, don't forget the other tabs... settings, basic, lighting and bevel profile. Just play around with all those until you get the look you want to acheive, and also add your own reflection map if you need to (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

yep, slight touches can make a big difference, if you don't like the result, just undo, and keep tryin.
