It's been a hot minute since I finished a cover, but it was fun to jump back into it and try to catch up with Bunny Dojo and his montage game (Especially Vertigo).

A few things I've learned studying montages this year:
- keep eyes at different hight levels
- vary head sizes
- vary between close-up, mid shot and full body images

And the rim light hair effect was achieved by using a Screen overlay with the image below. You can search "rim light" on google to use the screen overlay and relight images so they're more dramatic. But the hair must be over a dark background

Most excellent work here, Paris. This job is exactly why you're one of my fav designers.
I knew this cover style probably wouldn't score high in a competition such as this, but that doesn't change the fact that you once again display a full range of design qualities that often goes unnoticed by the un-initiated. A master piece of its genre and design style! Thank you for the before and after shots here, which gives but a small glimpse into your craft. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheers.gif)

Great work! I always like how you provide us with a bit more insight to your work such as the research you do - makes me think when I've created covers before I should have done some of that.
