ok, ive started with the cover, im going to use brushed metal as the background, and the Xmen text on the spine will be lowered in to the metal with a darker metal.

The thing is, i realy cant find any good pics/posters for the firsts and second movie, they are all with X men logo on and text etc, maybe i dont look at the right places, so for this i need help (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)
Im planning to do both connected spine and one with the full name on the movies only maybe i do a space saver to (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/chin.gif)

but if i can get some help on where to find some pics/posters etc without all that text on them and so, i be glad to use them (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

thats all for now (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) but i keep on workin on the text and the spines, etc etc

this is one of my first covers, so dont think it will be something "good" (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif) but im doin this for both practice and i like when covers to boxes look the same (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif)

thanks for ur time readin this
hopefully you can give me some nice links

dude, 5 bucks for 100 credits at movieposterdb is like buying a coke somewhere. The 5 bucks is worth it just for the xmen posters plus you get like 95 others. take the plunge you'll see it's worth it.

i downloaded one before i took a close look, i thought it were nice but when i saw the LOGO, i went crazy.. just hate when ppl do that! but then maybe i buy credits later this week, need to transfer money to paypal first

I just had a look on movieposterdb and there are a few posters there for the first 2 films without titles on them (especially X-Men 2)

I have loads of credit on there ,so if you want some of them let us know which ones; include the pic size and I'll e-mail them to you (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

Ok, this is what i got so far, dont realy know how to move on with it now (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Maybe the front is clean with Halle? (took her cause she is so freakin HOT) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Now I need u all to get on with this

(remember, this is my first cover without black background) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif)

Say what u think, if u think it stinks, SHOUT IT OUT, thats why im here (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) to get help! (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

EDIT: Forgot to ask a thing, i know the Bevel and Emboss thing in PhotoShop, so it looks like the metal stick out or what u call it (bad english) but how to reverse it? so it looks like the metal goes in ( i want to make that on the spine) any tips?

YEY!! update! dont know about the front yet, or the spine, but i think it looks ok (not super good, but ok) then to the back, I think that logan should be there, just like it (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) but then i dont know about the credit text? is it wrong style or does it look good? and should i move the logos under it more to the left or keep logan free? and then i dont know what to put on the upper back, for the plot. and the space over credits, shall i put a "TAKE A STAND" text there? or something relative to the movie? comon all (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) i need backup (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif)

that looks good, but the x looks a bit stretched to me also try the logos on the back without bevel and emboss on it, might looks better

made some changes fast, maybe this looks better on the front (plus i removed the bevel on back text/logos)

Now im stuck again, I tried some different pictures on the back, and since im going to use the same background for all three movies, it starts to get hard to get pics for the back from the first to movies... cant find any good ones, but i keep on with that. but i think i stick with that i got for Xmen 3, and finish it soon so i can start with the second and then make the first. keep up sending suggestions, thats why im here

done??? or do i need to put in the movie info? or not? dont know now (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) or where to put it in that case, i tried to print one, and saw that the text color i had before didnt work.. u didnt see a thing.. and i dont have a bad printer (Canon IP4000) so i changed the color a bit more white. but should i skip the movie info? plz give me tips here now (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/yellow.gif)

The Spine looks good when printed, and the front also, I dont like when its to much on the front. or should i make the X on the front larger so get MEN in the middle of the X without the M and N outside of the X ?

well enought of my talkin, here is the WiP (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif)

Lookin good there (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

But I would have used a pic with more characters on the front rather than just Halle ( she is hot though) as it looks as though the film is about Wolverine & Storm rather than just a X-men film.

Just my 2 pennies worth (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)
