I would go for the silver, as I feel that matches the colours on the cover better, good job so far.

That what i thought, the gold while it has more impact i think it has the impact cos it does not match the colours present. The grey/silver was my most prominent and i guess i will stick with that one...unless pps want to see both completed.

Gotta agree, the silver blends better, whilt the gold stands out. Blend always wins. Lookin good (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

yeah not to sound like a broken record but the silver is best.....You learn something new everyday, i thought the gold was best but as one of you said it has more impact because it is doesn't fit with the other colors.. and so on having a second look i see what you mean the silver is better....I'll have to remember Blend is best (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

Slight update credits added but not sure which colour to go for grey or white

(IMG:http://www.clangef.co.uk/images/Pathfinder%20grey%20credits.jpg)

(IMG:http://www.clangef.co.uk/images/grey%20text%20pre.jpg) Grey preview upclose

(IMG:http://www.clangef.co.uk/images/Pathfinder%20white%20credits.jpg)

Not too sure which font to use for the main text which i aim to place in the 'grey fog'

with art this nice I think you should try and "hide" the text in it so that the images can do the talking if you know what I mean. Or if u could find some nice images of a sword/shield or a broadaxe you could lean those up against the tree and place Special Features info in them.

So Id use white for the synopsis but lower the opacity on it to make it blend into the image and the grey u used for the credits is just right. Could u try to use the same grey or maybe a shade darker on the rest of the info below the credits? And maybe a black/white 20th century logo as the color stands out a bit as it is now...

Great cover (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

Comments noted and a good idea sword & shield..IF i can get them (or someone help me out (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif) ) I now see what you mean about trying to merge the majority of the text etc... makes sense will play with it some more, i would like this one to make Irrob happy (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif) (thanks for the comments m8) getting a happy medium and blend is what its all about..still learning and where else to learn from the best (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif) cheers guys!

BTW couldnt resist working on the gold one too hehe...Variety is the spice of life.

Truman, I have to say I prefer the contrast of the gold one, brings more dpeth and clarity to the cover for me (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Putting more effort into the grey / silver but still going to complete the gold one ... might as well now my wife thinks it looks like 'a lord of the rings cover' not sure what she meant by that (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Well Skally's colorblind (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

I guess since the images are fantasy... then it gets the LOTR feel as LOTR is the fantasygenres ultimate classic

But too bad they got it wrong... Vikings are cool... even cooler when the raid (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

This looks like a stunning cover and i do preffer the silver.

There is only 1 thing that i've spotted on the back where the tree is you can actually see the cloning you did and it's very visible maybe you need to work on that area again.

I also have some nice shield images

I know m8 i was gonna try and disguise/hide it with images and text as i had to enlarge the cloned image that much....talking 400% so i went for more transparent, but yes i guess it shows. Open to suggestions and those shields YES please if anyone at all can help then all help truly appreciated, i think the movie deserves it.

Yup sorry Raider but the 'oneman army' native come norseman is kicking butt. I love these movies 13th warrior has to be my fav film.

Thanks for the shields Demon i tried the Norseman shield out and still playing about with it.

(IMG:http://www.clangef.co.uk/images/Pathfinder%20silver%20justified%20pre.jpg)

Right i updated the spec box etc as per Raiders comments and i think it works better..thanks for that advice.
Irrob i tried to listen to you about letting the artwork talk more and decided to keep the synopsis down to a minimum. (is it ok or does it need a smaller font size? Cheers guys for the help).

I think its near complete but ....would look nice if there was a nice big broadsword or battle axe stciking in that tree!
