thanks for the comments lulubelle, the banner and midriff section is part of a template am using, have you any idea as to what images I might be able to use that would be better suited for the movie, any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe a grinning cheshire cat pattern? Keep the cover orange and make it stripey like the cat?

Nice work Corky, I'd go with a playing card design in the middle bit and colorise it to match the colours you've used

oh yeah, I suppose I could, didn't fancy watching the movie just to find out what I could use as a substitute image, never thought of the playing cards, good thinking batman, guess it'll have to be the queen of hearts with the missing tarts, I was toying with the idea of lulu's with the stripes, but I might just have better luck with the playing cards, we'll see what I can do.

I like the cardboard packet thingy. (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)
But you can try to make the banners less modern. (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Glad you like it, I must confess though the more I look at it, the more I dislike it, but if you want it, I'll happily send it to you.

Of course I'm not mad at you, that's the beauty of the world everyone is different (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) , let you in on a secret I don't like it either, and as such have been working on a different approach, seeing how it started life as a book, here's my version

"please see post 21 for updated images"

for some reason the 3d view is slightly different to the 2d view, but am sure u get the idea, any better guys, not done much to it yet, just wanna see if its ok so far

Much Better corky, prefer this to the first preview (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

My only change would be to make the title bigger (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

really nice work (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)
