Hi guys,

I'd like to replicate the dripping and splattered blood text on this label here;

http://www.hirescovers.net/gallery/albums/...e_eyes_copy.jpg

for my disc label;

http://www.hirescovers.net/gallery/albums/...s-Pendragon.jpg

Can it be done and if so, how difficult would it be?

Thanks in advance.

Dude, check your links, both are covers of mine none have dripping bloody text, unless this is an acid flashback and I don't exsist at all..... (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/chin.gif) (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Ok the first link showed me Bazzah's "The Hills Have Eyes" cover, hopefully this is right, I would suggest asking bazzah for help with the writing you need, there may be a font that you could use, as for the 2nd link, I saw a tiny white oblong, which am guessing isn't what I'm supposed to be looking at.

Pretty sure Bazzah didn't do the text, as per this link;

http://www.hirescovers.net/gallery/albums/...nrated_Scan.jpg

It's identical and the filename suggests its scanned, and I've seen this titling for the movie used on other promotional material as well.

It may be a font that is available to use, or it might be that the artists have used the pen tool and traced round it and cut it out. Will have to ask bazzah, but am sure we can get it or something very similar for you to use

For the dripping you can use a plugin for PS called Alien Skin Eye Candy, i know version 4000 had a filter called DRIP which would create the dripping effect your after.

As for the splatters, just google for splatter brushes for Photoshop and then use these as required.

That is a poster, but it is very easy to do. Do what Cockney advised with the alien skin eye candy. Once you have added the dripping effect, use a light eraser, in shape of a splatter brush, to achieve the desired effect.
