Sorry for the short downtime this morning. This was due to the sheer numbers of members logging in, and joining the site. We are expecting this to happen, as the server is being tuned to accept the volume of bandwidth. If the site should go off line again, please wait for a few minutes, and try again.

This is only a temporary issue, while the site is being 'tuned'.

We will shortly be switching the gallery back on, so there is a chance the site may go offline again. We need to test the site, and activity, so it can be fixed so this does not cause problems again in the future.

It looks like we may have established the problem. Due to the massive useage of the site, as we have just opened, the server was overloading. We have found that coppermine gallery does not like aproving images, while so much activity is going on throughout the site.

Therefore, we will be turning the gallery off periodicaly, to aprove the uploaded images. We will only do this when the site is quiet.

We hope to lift this restriction in the coming weeks when you have all settled down a bit.

Well, keep you fingers crossed! We think we have solved the problem. As soon as we opened the gallery, it seemed everyone just wanted to get as much as they could all at once. There was no limit set to each connection. What this meant, was a single member could download loads of covers at once. We have had to put a limit on this, but hopefully, unless you are trying to download 100 covers at a time, you won't notice.
