I brought Adobe Photoshop CS2 Total Training on Ebay this week the auction described it condiction as used when it was delivered to me i realized that it was a pirated copy that cost me $70AUD as you can imagine i was very pissed off with this
What sort of action do I take?
The person who sold it to me left his name, address & phone number on the post bag
Has anyone else had a problem like this on ebay as i have brought many things on there over the years and never had any problems

Wow, that sucks big time, I'd report the person to e-bay requesting your money back, if not then I'd check with the Police, it is against the law ya know. But that may be drastic, perhaps notify Adobe that ebay allowed this transaction? I'd sure try to get my money nack though.

Did you use Paypal to pay for it? If so, they offer insurance

Aussie ETS, don't take that sitting down...well...actually sit down get on your computer ... report them to eBay and to Paypal. eBay offer insurance and so do Paypal against things like that plus eBay will put the guys account on hold until it has been dealt with.

Maybe phone the guy and tell him that it is pirated.... see what he has to say.

If you don't get satisfaction from them then I would phone adobe and then the police.

Trouble is...you have got to remember, he knows where you live too and if he lives as near to you as you said then that could cause some problems.

Failing all else, send the old-man round with a whopping big spanner (wrench)
