i recently got ripped off on e-bay.
i saw a great film,i really wanted and in my haste bought it,without checking it out.turned out to be an old 'x' rated video(the ratings changed to 18 in 1982),transfered to dvd.
yes threats were made and i did get a refund.but i still want the film, but now know that it's never been released on dvd.
the film?...THE SILENT PARTNER(1978)
an excellent thriller about a bank robbery starring elliot gould and a VERY menacing christopher plummer.

which brings me to the qusetion:
what would you like top see on dvd that isn't available?

another one i would like to see is FEAR(1990),a thriller starring ally sheedy as a physic who helps police catch serial killers, and finds herself pitted against a physic killer, murdering people in the way they fear the most.

the only hope i have is if by some miracle they get shown on tv,and i can record them.

I would love an early Paul Walker film (one I'm sure he'd love to forget)...MEET THE DEEDLES...it was from Disney...It also had Dennis Hopper...It's a guilty pleasure, I admit...

strange,i would think the the name 'speilberg' would get it a release on dvd.i for one would be interested in seeing it.i looked it up on the imdb and its around the same time as duel.(which was also made for tv,but got a dvd release)

Duel which is an excellent movie (it was a TV movie), took forever to get a DVD release and that was Spielberg's first movie he directed!

And to add to the list...alas it will not happen because of legal issues...but the BATMAN TV series from the 60s with Adam West!

I think everyone wants this one on DVD, Disney's SONG OF THE SOUTH, but if I had to pick another title, guess I would go with Light Years, it was an animated feature that I still have on VHS, but sure would love to see it on DVD.

I'd like this one aswell after checking the details.

Can't beat decent 70s films IMO.

It's now deleted the version with English subs so that's why I included this title.

Thanks all the same.

Probably easier than tracking down a copy with English subs.

3.85 on amazon,it's region 1 only

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0...3359835-2454221

you just have to know how to search (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) amazons a nightmare!! type in michael and you get over 10 thousand results,as it lists anyone called michael as well as parts of the title,i dont think theres an advanced search to get round this,so you search another way.in this case i just typed 'johm travolta' in and its one of the first results.
i would recommend CAIMAN.i always use them and have never had a problem.
