I'm big fan of the "Terminator" series, so i decide to create a new cover, because i really hate the covers that i have seen so far ... (they all got one of the oficial posters art, in front or back).
This may not have the quality of a master designer (bunnydojo ex.) but making covers is more than a hobby. Hope someone make a comment or got an idea for turn it better, before make the upload. This post has been edited by Sxxo: Oct 23 2009, 11:10 PM

I think Bale on the front with nothing but white on the back looks too "cutted" out, why don't you try adding a very light smoke or something, maybe lower the saturation on Bale too.
And I really think you should go with another font for the titles, that one really doesnt go with the film.   |

I agree about the front. Maybe the burnt out city image would look good, large but faint in the background?

I'm still working in this one...
Felipe_11, as you suggest, I allready tried some snoke and it don't turn well, even tried to put on the back an fight helicopter but ... Bazzah, now i am working on your idea of "city in ruins" on the back, and probably it will work good. For that, must change the image on left up of the cover. Many thanks for the help of both. |

Looks better, but I still think Bale's face is way too orange, you should de-saturate him a bit (image>adjustments>hue/saturation or ctrl+U).

I like it, but think you need to fade the bottom edge of the top picture on the back a bit more .
and maybe use a grunge brush on that edge. |

Made the final changes ... 6% less of saturation on bale's face, and fix the bottom edge of the top image on back.
Many thanks for the help of everybody, for the cool ideas/sugestions. I'm going to upload the cover on the gallery. |

Nice and different! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) Not keen on the font you've used for the TT tho... But I justlove the official one, so maybe that's why.
If you really wanna use another font than the official one, I suggest that you use a sans serif instead. ____________________________
