I haven't gone with crumpled - just made it a bit used -which is about 2 minutes with layer blends - plus a little burn tool.

This may not be what you want, but if you play about, you will find what you want . and that's how we learn PhotoShop!! (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

use your pen tool to create the edge effect you want ...........then spatter.... then you need to add a layer mask and an overlay............to create aging..................best bit is using brushes in the overlay (IMG:http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

I've been trying to get it like the examples you have done, and there not looking as grand as yours or the other examples, but I don't suppose it matters cos there gonna be rather small and pegged out on a washing line zig-zaggy some can be flatish and some need to be like sideways on and some need to be cirled on the corners (well that's the plan), I tried rubbing out the background on the screen grabs, and that was awful.

By distorting the pic a little, you can come up with some different looking notes.

You know, I never noticed the alien until I read lulu's post and had to scroll back to look, must learn to be more observant.
