I couldn't find anything in the rules, though I may have been blind, about uploading 600 dpi scans. The pixel dimensions would be 2x vertical and 2x horizontal.

I scan at 1200 dpi (scanner's native resolution), fix all of the problems and resize. Providing 600 dpi scans would provide a higher print quality for users.

So, I thought I would ask.

Hi

Thank you for asking. It has come up before, but we decided it is best to keep to 300dpi so that the dimensions are correct when printing.

I hope you understand, and welcome to HiRes

Which is why I mentioned the pixel dimensions being adjusted to correctly match. I can understand someone screwing this up and using the standard pixel dimensions, but setting it for a dpi other than 300. That would indeed result in a printing error. If you guys ever change your minds, I'm sure you'll let the membership know.
