Excellent work on this one, stampe!

Thanks for showing a bit of a behind-the-scenes... it's always a treat to see all of the effort a designer must put in to create their designs. It's far too easy to assume the front artwork is retail art, especially when it is as well done as this.

I particularly like how you've matched all of the colors and levels to blend all of the separate characters into a cohesive scene. The eyelines of Hercules, Meg, and Phil also match up extremely well!

If I could make one minor criticism (because I always have to be THAT guy), on the back cover where it reads "The hippest, most playful of them... all, a hit of olympic proportions!" The word "all" should come after "them" on the first line, since it completes that specific phrase, leaving the second line starting with "a hit of...."

From a typographic perspective, it's odd to split two phases in the manner that you have. It's better to split them at a logical breaking point, like the end of an idea, clause, or sentence. For some helpful rules on line breaks, here's a great little guide that might be helpful to all designers. It's totally understandable that maintaining these rules is more difficult if you're designing covers outside of your native language. Heck, even I have trouble following them all the time and English is my first (and unfortunately) only language. 8824.gif

All things considered, I really like what you've done here!

Thank you for being THAT guy. You don't know how much it helps!
Funnily enough, I had it first correct and changed it for two reasons. First being that i didn't like the dots at the end of the first line
and secondly because the old dvd cover did it that way as well.

Thank you again for the link, that is very helpful!
I wish I could blame it on "not being a native English speaker", but fact is I'm typographically challenged in every language i speak 8824.gif
