Another year, another collection of incredible designs. It has been a difficult task for everyone to vote for their winners, with such an wonderful line up of nominations, but the results are now in.
And it is probably no surprise to you all, that I announce our 2020 Cover and Label Of The Year winner is none other than Kernie! And it is also probably no surprise to you all that I announce the winning cover and label is Kernie's Avengers: Endgame (2019)! It is another stunning piece of artwork, making these Kernie's 11th and 12th Cover and Label Of The Year win. And 6 of these yearly wins have been with an Avenger's title. Congratulations Kernie.

Thank you to everyone for voted for Avengers: Endgame. I am so honored that you have chosen them as Cover and Label of the Year.
Every year, the designers at HiRes raise their game and this year was no different. So many amazing pieces of artwork were made in 2020 that I am genuinely surprised that my entries performed so well against such incredible competition. My hat is off to all other artists, but I would like to point out Fidi in particular... who had three masterpieces in this year's Top 5 for a combined total of 719 points! That is wildly impressive! The man is truly a force to be reckoned with! That is not to take anything away from weyn, Bunny Dojo, redt8tr, ctaulbee, Matush, s_t_a_l_k_e_r, robe77, dany26, and all of the other awesome talent that share their creations on this great site. Congratulations to all of you and thanks again! |
